    Sales activity in Perth declined by three per cent over the week, with 588 transactions recorded.

    This decline can be attributed to a six per cent decrease in house sales and a two per cent decrease in unit sales. However, vacant land sales experienced a 16 per cent increase in transactions over the week.

    Listings for sale

    The total number of properties for sale in Perth was stable over the week, with 14,641 listings recorded.

    Listings for houses decreased by one per cent while unit and vacant land listings were both stable.

    The total number of listings recorded this week is two per cent lower than four weeks ago and one per cent lower than the same time last year.

    Perth rental market

    REIWA members reported that the total number of properties for rent in Perth grew by one per cent over the week to 10,854.

    This figure is one per cent greater than levels seen four weeks ago but similar to the same time last year.
