    Sales activity in Perth rebounded this week after the traditional lull of the Easter and Anzac Day break, with 725 transactions recorded.

    The overall 55 per cent rise in weekly sales is attributed to a 61 per cent increase in house sales, a 51 per cent increase in unit sales, and a 34 per cent increase in vacant land sales.

    Listings for sale

    The total number of properties for sale in Perth declined by one per cent over the week to 14,840.

    Listings for houses and units both decreased by two per cent, while vacant land listings increased by one per cent.

    This week’s listing figure is similar to levels recorded four weeks ago and one per cent lower than the same time last year.

    Perth rental market

    REIWA members reported that the total number of properties for rent in Perth increased over the week to 10,734.

    This figure is three per cent higher than four weeks ago and five per cent higher than the same time last year.
