• Local West Aussie family wins afternoon with Perth Scorchers

On Friday 1 March, the winners of reiwa.com’s Perth Scorchers public prize draw got to enjoy an afternoon with four Perth Scorchers players in their backyard.

By simply downloading the new reiwa.com app and filling in the competition form, Kendell Terrell won the opportunity of a lifetime to spend an afternoon playing backyard cricket with four Perth Scorchers players.

Kendell and her husband Brett hosted Cameron Bancroft, Hilton Cartwright, Sam Whiteman and Ashton Agar at their home in Mount Pleasant for a fun-filled afternoon of cricket, where the local neighbourhood kids got to test their skills against some of the BBL’s best and brightest players.

"We had a brilliant backyard cricket match with the Scorchers, the boys were in great form. It was a grassy pitch so the kids opted to bowl first and by the late afternoon they were hitting it for six. It was a close match but the kids got up in the end. They haven't stopped talking about it since," Brett said.

In addition to winning an afternoon with the Perth Scorchers, Kendell and Brett also won a double pass to the 26 December 2018 Boxing Day Scorchers match and a cricket bat and replica playing shirt signed by the team.

reiwa.com will continue as joint principal partners of the Perth Scorchers for the 2019-20 BBL season.
