Satterley Property Group is anticipating keen interest from major retailers when it releases the final commercial sites to market at Brighton in Perth’s north coastal corridor.

The commercial centre of Brighton has already secured multiple multi-million dollar investments with current retailers including Aldi, Dan Murphy’s, BCF, McDonalds and a medical centre.

Woolworths anchored Butler Central which includes 20 specialty retailers’ stores and is due for completion in December this year.

Satterley Chief Executive Nigel Satterley says he expects the land to be bought by big local players.

“This is prime commercial land surrounded by a thriving and growing community,” he said.

“The commercial sites in the Business Park North are located along Landbeach Avenue which is adjacent to the future freeway access and high traffic areas including Marmion Avenue and is walking distance to the Butler Train Station.

“This is prime retail land in one of the fastest-growing population corridors in the country, with the population within the Cities of Joondalup and Wanneroo expected to grow to around 470,000 people in the next four years.”

Mr Satterley said the commercial land still available totalled four hectares and was presently divided between 17 separate sites of between 1,089sqm and 5,244sqm.

The land is within the Brighton district centre precinct plan with permitted uses ranging from retail, commercial and entertainment.

Mr Satterley says the Brighton estate has been one of the major residential success stories in the land development industry, with more than 5,650 home sites sold in the past 16 years.

Satterley is also the developer of Eden Beach in Jindalee, a beachside community located less than one kilometre away from the Brighton district centre on the western side of Marmion Avenue.

Brighton, Eden Beach and the surrounding area is currently home to around 18,000 residents.

All the commercial lots on offer are within walking distance of the Butler Train Station off Butler Boulevard – the heart of the Brighton retail and commercial precinct.

Mr Satterley said the retail and commercial centre was the final stage in the Brighton master plan.

“The Brighton development, and this land at it commercial heart, represents the maturation of the Brighton community and the northern coastal communities as a whole,” he said.

“It has been very satisfying to watch the growth of a new community and see the master plan approach realised.

“With the sale and development of these major retail sites, Brighton will have its own shopping, entertainment and employment precinct.”

Brighton is already home to some of WA’s biggest brands including; Bridgestone Select, Living Emporium, Petstock, Jetts, Repco, McDonalds, Red Rooster, KFC, Coles Express, ALDI, Dan Murphys, BCF, Super Cheap Auto and State Swim amongst others.
