The latest reiwa.com commercial market research reports which cover showrooms, warehouses, offices and retail sales for the June 2019 quarter, are now available to view online.
Overall, Perth’s commercial real estate sector continued to feel the effects of the WA market slowdown, with only four of the six sub-regions recording over 100 sales.
Perth’s Inner and South-West regions showed the largest number of sales with 151 recorded for the quarter.
There were some positive signs observed in the quarter including a slight increase in average price per square metre across all commercial property types except for offices.
Showrooms saw the latest growth with an 11.1 per cent increase which is in line with five years ago and has a median building price of $2,361 per square metre across Perth.
