The Council of the Australian Federation (CAF) has made considerable progress for mutual recognition.

Since national licensing was abandoned in December 2013, REIA has continued to advocate for a MRA that has stringent requirements for a licence holder to undertake ‘top-up’ training on moving to a new jurisdiction.

The REIA supports genuine applications from estate agents who have qualified and worked in another state and believes that mutual recognition must be supported by consistent nationwide real estate education.
