Bushland Hideaway by the Beach

Are you looking for a quiet retreat where you can escape the rigors of daily life and take life at a slower pace? This property oozes seaside and bushland charm, you will be enchanted from the moment you enter.

Built in 2004, this home has a versatile floorplan with generous sized bedrooms and a second living area which could be used for a multitude of different uses.

At the front of the home is a spacious master suite, with three windows all finished with roman blinds. A walk in robe provides plenty of hanging space and the room is big enough to accommodate extra furniture and a king sized bed. A lovely ensuite completes the package with a timber benchtop, raised vanity, room for the laundry hamper, fully screened shower & toilet.

The large second living area occupies the other side of the hallway. This big, light airy room has blue and white roman blinds that create an element of fun & coastal charm, and a wall of cupboards provides plenty of storage. This room would suit a multitude of purposes depending on your lifestyle - large home office, games room, home theatre or a bunkroom for the kids and their friends.

The main living area is at the rear of the home and you will be immediately captivated by the picture perfect outlook to the garden and surrounding bush.
The kitchen has been recently renovated with a large timber island bench, plenty of drawers, cupboards, a super functional pantry, stainless steel appliances, fridge recess and a great view from sink overlooking the trees.
There is plenty of room for a dining table and family area, and together with the wood fire, this is a lovely space to spend time with family and friends. A sliding door with large windows either side floods the area with natural light and allows the alfresco to seamlessly integrate with the main living area.

A separate hallway leads to the other two bedrooms. The larger of the two rooms is at the rear of the home and has a sliding door leading to its own deck. A large barn door hides a generous walk in robe. This room is large enough to be considered a second master bedroom, making the layout perfect for two families to share as a holiday house or appealing for a holiday rental. The other bedroom also has a sliding door and single built in robe.

The family bathroom is central to the two bedrooms and definitely has the wow factor! Shiny teal tiles and cool driftwood shelving and mirror give room a fun, beachy feel. There is a large timber vanity with glass basin and shower over the bath.

A good sized laundry has a walk in linen press and lovely timber bench with washer & dryer underneath as well as a cabinet for storage. Funky driftwood shelving provides a lovely finishing touch. A separate toilet is off the laundry.

The home has ducted evaporative air conditioning and a solar hot water system with electric booster.

The backyard is a nature trail that will entice everyone to enjoy the great outdoors – the kids will love the fishpond and the recessed firepit provides the perfect spot to toast marshmallows. There is large alfresco under the main roof with drop down blinds for the winter months. This area catches all the winter sunshine and is a lovely warm spot to enjoy a BBQ at any time of the year. The decking extends past the alfresco and down the back of the house.

A rustic fence at the back is continuation of the coastal theme of the property and has a secret gate the leads to bush at the back of the property – this provides a sense of privacy, nature and a great place to send the kids to play or walk the dog.

Side access leads to a 6m x 8m powered workshop that is perfect to park the car and also has plenty of extra room for workshop space. The workshop also has the convenience of a rear sliding door for additional access.

This lovely home epitomizes the relaxed seaside lifestyle that the locals enjoy in this gorgeous beachside town, where everything including the beach is only a short walk away!

By 1962 there was only one resident in the area, but many homes were built in the following few years. At the request of the Shire of Harvey, Binningup was gazetted a townsite in 1963.
