A chance to make all of your coastal dreams come true.

What we love
The spacious 586sqm unique corner block with 3 street frontages that this largely-original 3 bedroom 1 bathroom character home so comfortably sits on, allowing you to plan and secure your coastal future here in one way or another. Within easy walking distance of snorkelling and swimming at the calm lagoon and beach that is Mettams Pool, this delightful property is also nestled virtually opposite the North Beach Bowling Club and sprawling Charles Riley Memorial Reserve sporting facilities – both next door to Our Lady of Grace Primary School. It really is quite the location to set yourself up in.

Solid Jarrah floorboards, high ceilings, decorative cornices and feature skirting boards are commonplace throughout, with the study off the entry doubling as the perfect small “third” bedroom or nursery. A functional L-shaped lounge and dining room next to the kitchen enjoys a pleasant garden aspect, whilst the secure yard plays host to a wood-fire pizza oven, a delightful pergola for outdoor entertaining and lush green lawns. The opportunity to build your dream North Beach home here down the track may be one that is too good to pass up, but for now this charming residence is in solid enough condition to either live in or rent out whilst you plan your next move or the perfect opportunity to renovate and extend the existing home.

What to know
Split-system air-conditioning graces the living space and kitchen, alongside a Rinnai wall heater, double sinks, a gas cooktop, Euromaid electric upright and a walk-in pantry. The spacious master bedroom has ample built-in wardrobe options, with the second bedroom also consisting of a built-in robe. The toilet is separate from an original bathroom with a walk-in shower and heat lamps, whilst the practical laundry has storage and outdoor access the yard.

Gates on either side of the yard make access easy, with a large single lock-up garage doubling as a workshop with a roller door, work bench and a door leading to the entertaining area. Extras include Venetian blinds, curtains to main bedrooms, security doors/screens, a gas hot-water system, bore reticulation, pizza oven and leafy gardens. The North Beach Tennis Club is also across the road, whilst a close proximity to North Beach Shopping Centre, North Beach Primary School, cafes, restaurants, Flora Terrace, the majestic “Class A” Star Swamp Bushland Reserve, Trigg Point, public and private golf courses, the exciting Karrinyup Shopping Centre redevelopment, the freeway, other top educational facilities and even Hillarys Boat Harbour is simply just an added bonus. Don’t forget about the bus stop at your front door, too. Coastal convenience awaits you here!

North Beach overview

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.

Life in North Beach

Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
