Semi Rural Perfection

This is truly one of the best houses I have had the pleasure of bringing to market. The owners have put so much thought not only into the floor plan, but the great features and extras and this must be seen to be believed.
This quality built home was built by WA Country Builders and no expense has been spared. The house presents in essentially brand new condition.
The 5 bedrooms are all large in size and the property also features 3 bathrooms, with 1 bedroom and bathroom serving as a guest room or perfect for a live in nanny or au-pair.
The large kitchen, living and dining serves as a spacious family gathering area opening up onto a large alfresco with a northern aspect overlooking the manicured lawns, gardens and native trees.
The kitchen is full of quality finishes with a large stone island bench, stone splash back, plumbed fridge recess and extra-large walk-in pantry.
The husband or tradie with all the toys with be forever grateful for the 10m x 9m powered shed with dual 3.2m high electric roller doors. The gardens and lawns are all fully reticulated off the bore; the yard is perfectly level for an easy Sunday ride on the ride-on lawn mower to keep everything tidy.
The greenie in us all will be happy with a quality solar electricity set up and huge rainwater water tank that pumps back into the house so there are only a few months during summer where town water is used.

Ducted reverse cycle Daiken air-conditioning
Wood fire

Vasse overview

he townsite of Vasse is located in the south west, 240 kilometres south southwest of Perth and 11 kilometres south west of Busselton. The townsite is named after the nearby Vasse River and Vasse Estuary, both of which are named after a French seaman, Thomas Timothee Vasse who was believed to have drowned here in June 1801. Vasse was a helmsman on the Naturaliste, a ship which was part of a French scientific expedition to Australia in 1801-03. He was washed overboard and lost, and the river was consequently named in his honour. In 1838, G.F. Moore interviewed the aboriginals about Vasse and noted in his diary that Vasse had not been drowned but died later from anxiety, exposure and poor diet.

Vasse townsite was formerly part of the Busselton Commonage reserve, an area set aside in 1879 for the common use of Busselton residents. In 1898 the land was inspected by the Department of Agriculture, and was proposed as suitable for subdivision into five and 10 acre blocks for dairying in support of the soon to open Busselton butter factory. The good land in the area was swamp land, and release of lots was delayed pending drainage. When subdivision was finalised in 1906, the surveyor suggested the area be named Vasse after the river, and the townsite of Vasse was then gazetted in 1907. The townsite is very elongated and covers three separate areas. Vasse Siding on the Busselton-Margaret River Railway was named in 1923.
