Whiteman Park Café – Expressions of Interest Invited

Burgess Rawson, on behalf of the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage, invites Expressions of Interest from experienced food and beverage operators to lease and operate the Whiteman Park Café.

Located within the Village, adjacent to the Kiddies Pool, the café offers an opportunity to establish a venue within one of Perth’s major heritage, recreation and tourism destinations.

Whiteman Park attracts approximately 1.7 million visitors annually and is home to wildlife attractions, heritage transport experiences and museums.

The approximately 1,290.9 sqm lease area comprises a 223.4 sqm café, 24.5 sqm transportable and 1,043 sqm external area.

Key features include:
+ Village location adjacent to the Kiddies Pool.
+ Existing café premises and extensive external area.
+ Approximately 247.9 sqm combined building area.
+ Three-phase power with a dedicated meter.
+ Onsite treated bore-water supply.
+ Septic connection, bottled gas and grease trap.
+ Available from 1 July 2027.
+ Initial five-year lease.

The Department is seeking an experienced operator with a suitable café concept, financial capacity and a practical operating model.

Applicants should provide relevant experience, a fit-out concept, proposed trading arrangements and a commercial offer.
