Representing a huge opportunity for the astute buyer to get into this tightly held and attractive Foothills location at a value price point, this great property must be at the top of your shopping list.

The residence is set well back from the street and is surrounded by low maintenance landscaped gardens and lawns. Dual driveways provide access to the double garage that fronts the home and to the shed or workshop, making this property the perfect setup for those requiring parking for extra vehicles, caravans and the boat.

The residence offers comfortable living with a large open plan family and dining area which is overlooked by a spacious kitchen. Attractive and hard wearing slate flooring features here and is complemented by classic neutral decor. The kitchen has an outlook to the garden and allows Mum to keep an eye on the kids whilst she prepares dinner as they play in the cubby or explore the fully fenced rear garden. The kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances including 5 burner gas cooktop and dishwasher.

The accommodation consists of 4 bedrooms with good separation between the master suite and the minor bedrooms to ensure parents privacy. The master bedroom is spacious and has a walk in robe and ensuite. There is also a semi ensuite to bedroom 2 and yet another bathroom to cater for the remaining two bedrooms, making this ideal for those with teenagers!

And whilst the home is supremely comfortable, there is so much to appreciate outside. An enclosed al fresco area from the living space is ideal for entertaining whatever the weather, whilst two other patio areas provide options for entertaining or just relaxing and enjoying the outlooks over the gardens. The tradie or home handyman will revel in the man shed which is well separated from the house. It has a concrete floor and power and is ideal as a workshop or to provide extra covered parking for vehicles or the boat and caravan. There is also a small covered lean-to, garden shed and a water tank. A bonus free standing room toward the rear of the property could be easily enhanced to serve as the perfect teen retreat or games room meaning there is plenty on offer to appeal to the entire family.

This property offers a host of other extras including ducted reverse cycle air conditioning, double garage and of course, the great location close to Booralie Way Park, just to name a few. Do not miss this great opportunity to get a foothold in the foothills!

Maida Vale overview

This area was first settled in 1873 by William Henry Mead. He built a home in the Ridge Hill area, and established an orchard named "Orangedale". The name of Maida Vale was chosen as the district name by a public meeting of local residents in 1910, and comes from the property name of another early settler, Mr W H McCormack. It is assumed that the name was derived from that of the west London suburb of this name, which in turn is named after Maida (S. Pietro di Maida) in Calabria, Italy. The British Army defeated the French there in 1806, and in commemoration of the victory Maida Hall and Maida Vale were named.

Life in Maida Vale

Within the suburb there is a primary school, Maida Vale Primary School, a golf course, numerous parks/ovals, small shops, and a heated swimming pool. Maida Vale retains areas of natural bushland and is not completely built-up with housing.
