This is the definition of affordable living. If you don't need to live in the Perth metropolitan area, why would you bother? High prices, denser neighbourhoods… and sometimes, denser neighbours. If you don't actually need to be there, what's the appeal? According to Google Maps, Beverley is approximately 70 minutes from the Brookton Highway and Albany Highway intersection. You're really not that far from the burbs at all. In fact, it all feels very accessible - and it's a genuinely lovely drive out there.
LIVING HERE The home is very well presented, with the central living space forming the true hub of activity. It's a large area with high ceilings, and the design is genuinely impressive. There's loads of room for larger furniture and plenty of flexibility to configure the space to suit your needs. The three bedrooms all have brand new carpets and air conditioning, and it all works very well in terms of being able to set each room up to suit your needs. The main bedroom features a large built-in robe recess and will comfortably accommodate a king-size bed and all the associated bits and pieces. The other two bedrooms will fit a queen-size bed, making the layout very practical overall. There's a real country feel here too, with a veranda across the front that wraps around both sides of the house. You can see from the floor plan how it's all configured, but one thing's for sure - it offers great functionality. Out the back of the home is a huge yard area, and the double carport at the rear also has access from the adjacent street. There's room here for a thumping big workshop if that's what you're after, or you could further enhance the back gardens, which already include some established fruit trees. On a block this size, there's space for more than just the average chook pen as well - so if that's your thing, there's loads of room to make it happen. And if it's not, and what you're really after is just very affordable living in a comfortable home in a tidy town, then take it as it is - because you're onto a winner with this one.
You can pretty much walk everywhere in town and from my experience, the kind folk of Beverley give a nod or a "G'day" as you go along the way.
