AFFORDABLE INLET ESCAPE

What an incredible opportunity to secure an immediately liveable/rentable property on the water's edge in Denmark. At the mouth of Little River, the edge of Wilson Inlet and adjoining the famous Bibbulmun Track, the location is an adventure hotspot and holiday paradise!

A solid and neat early 1990's double brick home offers 2 bedrooms both with robes, a large, open plan living area with cathedral ceilings, wood fire, and practical kitchen adjacent. Interior living flows directly out to the huge, covered deck just made for family bbq's and entertaining friends.

A large shed offers parking for two vehicles plus holiday toys and the yard is extremely low maintenance as it is predominantly natural granite. A track leads directly to the waters edge where kayaks and the like are bound to be beached during the summer for continual use.

A super quiet and private location immersed in the natural environment; enjoy water views whilst listening to bird calls.

Denmark overview

The townsite of Denmark, located on the south coast 51 kilometres west of Albany, was gazetted a townsite in 1909. It is located on the Denmark River from which it derives its name, the river having been named by the explorer Dr J B Wilson RN in December 1829. Wilson named it the "Denmark" in compliment to his friend Dr. Alexander Denmark R.N. a physician to the fleet. The Aboriginal name "Koorrabup", recorded by Alfred Hillman in 1833, also refers to this area.

Although a townsite was not declared here until 1909, a settlement of this name had existed here for some years previous. A Millars Bros. Timber mill was established on the banks of the river in 1894.
