Renovated Character with Space for the Whole Family...

Stunningly situated on a massive 1,234sqm (approx.) corner block within the family-friendly suburb of Menora and just minutes away from the city, surrounding food and shopping precincts and vibrant entertainment hotspots, this delightful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom character home is filled with circa-1920s charm and possesses a versatile floor plan that will definitely benefit from the addition of your own modern personal touches.

Solid Jarrah timber floorboards and classic high ceilings are commonplace throughout the residence, from its welcoming front lounge room - warmed by a splendid log fireplace - to a commodious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area where double sinks, quality tap fittings, sparkling granite bench tops and feature tiled splashbacks meet a stainless-steel gas cooktop/oven and an integrated range hood hovering above.

The study has its own private access from outside and works extremely well as either a home office or third bedroom, linking through to an elegant second bedroom with built-in storage options. An exquisite ensuite bathroom with a large shower, separate bathtub, a toilet and a gorgeous vanity basin highlights the master-bedroom suite, alongside a generous walk-in wardrobe that has been cleverly fitted out with wooden trimmings.

A sprawling wraparound yard is somewhat of a "blank canvas" that for the time being boasts an adventure cubby house and slide for the kids, a shimmering below-ground swimming pool, leafy gardens and plenty of lush greenery. It is all overlooked by a huge alfresco-entertaining deck where a pitched roof with two outdoor ceiling fans will help comfortably cater for absolutely any family occasion.

A short stroll to the beautiful Ron Stone Park, the Alexander Park Tennis Club, Saint Paul's Primary School, Mount Lawley Senior High School and the Edith Cowan University Mount Lawley Campus complements a very close proximity to bus stops, Coolbinia Primary School, the Dog Swamp and Flinders Square Shopping Centres, the buzzing Angove Street cafe strip, the Kyilla Farmer's Markets and so much more. Menora overview

The suburb of Menora grew out of a large area generally referred to as Mount Lawley.  In 1954, the Nomenclature Advisory Committee, working with the Postmaster General established suburb names and boundaries for the inner metropolitan area.  The area of Menora was considered unnamed, and Menora was chosen as the name because of the Menora Picture Theatre located in Walcott Street within the area.

Life in Merora

Menora is home to a large Jewish community, the heart of which is the Perth Hebrew Congregation. It is close to the Carmel Jewish School and other Kosher facilities such as the Kosher Food Centre and Besh Fresh cafe. A Jewish synagogue was opened on Plantation Street in 1973 and remains a significant spiritual focus for Perth's Jewish community.

The suburb contains some commercial ribbon development along Walcott Street, which allows local residents to access retail services. Other facilities include a large number of public open space reserves and several pocket parks, Saint Paul's Primary School and several homes for senior citizens.
