A STUNNING HILLS HOME

Set right opposite beautiful reserve bushland, this marvellous four-bedroom home is an absolutely wonderful find in this very busy hills property market. Beautifully designed and with fantastic living space, this property is one you have to see to truly appreciate.

INSIDE
The home features two living areas, the kitchen is right in the middle of both of them. At the front is a nice loungeroom with plenty of natural light and space for the big modular lounge like the one you see in the pictures, TV and all the living room stuff. The other is at the back of the house and is a truly impressive space. With soaring raked ceilings this magnificent area opens out onto the huge deck and outdoor entertaining area, but we'll get to that in a moment.

The kitchen features solid timber cabinetry and modern appliances. It overlooks the back room which is currently used as the meals area and is really great sense of space and functionality required in this important part of this home.

The bedrooms are positioned adjacent to the hallway which runs along the side of the home. The master suite is large and features a big built-in robe. Bedroom two is currently used as a study, with built-in furniture and plenty of other storage, the third bedroom is of a good size too.

OUTSIDE
There is a veranda that runs across the front of the house and another that wraps around the back of the house as you are led out onto this fabulous deck. The deck is elevated and the height of the deck has you at treetop level with parts of the garden, giving this retreat a real sense of privacy and kind-of like you're in one seriously big adult cubby-house. There is an enclosed space within the gardens with a lemon tree and this would make a tremendous chook pen or veggie garden. The back lawn provides plenty of space for the kids to run around or for the dog to enjoy. It's really a marvellous place to be and it really feels so private too.

WHERE IT IS
With such a beautiful leafy position, you would be forgiven for thinking this is out somewhere in the bush. Which it kind of is, but it kind of isn't… It's suburbia but a beautiful part of it. The Kelmscott Hills are loved for this very reason. The bushland is right across the road with paths and tracks that will take you for miles and miles up into the hills and you are surrounded by the peace and tranquillity of this protected reserve, but you're also just a moment away from public transport offering easy access to the public town-centre with all of its tremendous amenities. From here you can easily walk to Friar Park, offering acres and acres of high-quality parkland and sporting fields, basketball courts and cricket nets. You can walk a little further to great coffee and food at the Pink Deli Café or in and out of town to the shopping centre. It's so pretty and so convenient.

Kelmscott overview

Kelmscott is a mixed-use residential, industrial, rural and commercial suburb located 25 kilometres southeast of Perth. The suburb was one of the very early towns established in the Swan River Colony and was named after Kelmscott, Oxfordshire, the birthplace of the first Anglican clergyman in the colony, Thomas Hobbes Scott (1783–1860). Established in 1830, Kelmscott's most rapid growth period was in the 1960s and 1970s.
