Front row seats to Perth city in all of its glory.

As you make your way to this grand residence, you are graced with some of the best views in Perth. Surrounded by green spaces, with easy access to the city, golf course, cafes and restaurants by foot or cycle path. Turning along the riverside jetty to a quaint street you never knew existed. A gated and paved courtyard allows comfortably for 4 cars. As you step out, the sound of flowing water and birds singing feels calming. Creeping vines up to the grand stone wall has a European feel and sets the mood as you enter this stunning home.

The foyer is bright and airy, a feature that has been thoughtfully curated by the architect through every inch of this home. Here, soft tones contrast with the timber flooring to create a welcoming entrance. To the left, the guest bathroom a semi en-suite to the guest sleeping quarters. Built-in robes can be found in each bedroom, likewise the sweeping city views.

Moving along the corridor, floor to ceiling windows allow for natural light to flood in. The solar heated pool to the right, complimented with textured tiles and seating. The next section of the house truly takes your breath away, it just gets better and better. Magnificent panoramic city views as far as the eye can see. With the house set back on the river, there is a wonderful feeling or calm and seclusion that is just so peaceful. The surroundings have been perfectly encapsulated in this home, without being invasive; the city simply provides an idyllic backdrop.

To the right a spacious study, the pool behind and river in front makes for an uninterrupted and comfortable space to work. The open-plan kitchen is a dream here. Cooking for and entertaining guests is certainly what was in mind when this space was designed. The speckled marble bench tops with black splash backs are luxurious with plenty of space to move around and an abundance of storage space has been custom built to keep everything neatly tucked away. The dining area is spacious and would suit a grand and lavish dining table. Adjacent you will find the first living space. This open plan area has so much potential to make a truly glamorous entertaining space to enjoy with your friends and family.

And here lays, the pièce de rèsistance; the expansive terrace with uninterrupted and panoramic views of our beautiful city. The Optus stadium and sweeping Matagarup Bridge are directly in sight creating an incredible place to watch the sun set with barbecue and glass of vino. A front row seat to Perth City in all of it's glory.

Descending the stairs you arrive at the second living space with high ceilings; perfect for a rumpus room. An extended fully fitted laundry and separate store room, two generous sized bedrooms with built-in robes and family bathroom. Nestled at the rear, you will find an impressive master bedroom with city views and wrap around terrace; your own private oasis. The en-suite is modern and walk-in wardrobe, vast. Everything has been thought of to allow this property to function seamlessly as a family home.

This is a very special property and truly one of a kind. I can't wait to see what you think and look forward to meeting you soon.

Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
