The delightful north-facing rear aspect that this stunning 4 bedroom 2 bathroom two-storey home provides, along with quality low-maintenance modern living just minutes from beautiful beaches and only footsteps away from picturesque “Class A” Star Swamp Reserve bushland walking trails. A securely-gated front yard allows the kids to play out on the lawn in front of the portico entry deck without a worry in the world. Out back, an exceptional alfresco-entertaining Ekodeck is as tranquil as they come and can be seamlessly accessed via the open-plan family, dining and kitchen area that itself is luxuriously-equipped with a double-door storage pantry, sparkling stone bench tops, a breakfast bar for casual meals, stylish light fittings, sleek white cabinetry, a glass cabinet, wine racking, a Bosch Induction cooktop, an oven of the same brand, an integrated range hood and a dishwasher.

Servicing the sleeping quarters on the ground floor is an exquisite main bathroom where a separate shower and bathtub help cater for everybody’s personal needs. Upstairs, a fabulous tiled balcony off the sitting room is covered and splendidly overlooks the bush, whilst a versatile fourth bedroom – or study – with built-in wardrobes can also be found on this floor, along with a spacious master suite where a large walk-in robe and ceiling fan meet a private ensuite bathroom, comprising of immaculate tiling, twin stone “his and hers” vanities, a walk-in shower, toilet and more. This is coastal class and it’s waiting for you right here.

The two downstairs minor bedrooms are all carpeted for complete comfort, have ceiling fans and boast mirrored built-in robes for good measure. The laundry is impeccably-appointed with more stone bench tops, alongside over-head and under-head cabinetry, a walk-in linen press and external access out to a lovely drying courtyard. Extras include ducted reverse-cycle air-conditioning upstairs, split-system air-conditioning downstairs, security doors, a Ziptrak alfresco blind for protection from the elements, an instantaneous gas hot-water system, an outdoor gas point for barbecues on the deck, louver shutters to the main bedroom and entrance, white Venetians to all other windows, roller shutters to the laundry and upstairs balcony, skirting boards, ethernet wiring, TV points, feature down lights throughout, quality 600mm x 600mm floor tiles to the ground level, carpeted minor bedrooms and gleaming Bamboo floorboards elsewhere.

North Beach overview

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.

Life in North Beach

Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
