One of The CHEAPEST Blocks in Collie

1846m2. bock tucked away in a peaceful and great location close to the centre of Collie lies a great opportunity.
Only 5 minutes from the town centre of Collie, 2 minutes from the local Cricket club, the towns Recreation centre and Soccer fields. If you are not into sport then walk across the road to find a spot for a bit of red fin perch fishing or drop a net in and catch some marron during the marron season. There are plenty of swimming spots along the river for a dip in those hot summer months. The local Lions club is only up the road if you want to give back and become a part of the community by helping organize community events and make those forever friends.

These bush blocks are for that buyer who likes to live alternatively by building a home like no other, maybe a cheap home made from Sea containers or just your country style timber home built on stilts to enjoy the view over the river. The choice is yours, you just have to put in an offer.

Collie overview

The townsite of Collie is located 202 kilometres south southeast of Perth and about 50 kilometres east of Bunbury. It is situated on the Collie River after which it is named. The river, which rises in the Darling Range and flows into Leschenault Estuary near Bunbury, is named after Dr Alexander Collie who was a Royal Navy surgeon that discovered the river in 1829.

Collie is a coal mining town with the coalfields developed in the late 1890s, and land set aside for a townsite. The name Collie was generally used from the beginning, and when lots were surveyed and the townsite gazetted in December 1897, it was named Collie.
