The Complete Package!

A quiet tree-lined street nestled within the sought-after Applecross Senior High School catchment zone is the perfect setting for this cleverly-renovated and extended 4 bedroom 1 bathroom character home on a spacious 751sqm (approx.) family-sized block with so much to offer.

A gated front yard with plenty of lush green lawn and adjacent paving is safely secured behind a gorgeous white picket fence that splendidly sets the scene before you even step foot inside, overlooked by a delightful verandah entry deck with charming leadlight features.

Original high ceilings, solid Jarrah floorboards, feature skirting and decorative cornices are still commonplace throughout the front part of the house, gracing a welcoming lounge-come-family room that is generous in size and boasts a ceiling fan, split-system air-conditioning, a gas bayonet for heating, a Rinnai fireplace and a connecting sitting or music area that is ideal for activities.

All four bedrooms comprise of ceiling fans and some form of built-in wardrobes, including a larger master with classic wooden finishes to its storage options. There is also a separate study for good measure.

A renovated open-plan kitchen and dining area has a distinct "Hamptons" feel to it and allows quality low-maintenance flooring to meet a corner computer nook, an island breakfast bar for quick meals, double sinks, feature subway-tile splashbacks, a Bosch dishwasher and a six-burner Bosch gas cooktop/oven, before spilling outside - via double doors - to a stunning rear alfresco-entertaining deck with a picturesque backdrop that is a shimmering below-ground swimming pool.

Also poolside lies a huge backyard with even more green grass for the kids and a built-in Everdure mains gas barbecue, as well as separate studio or games room with either home office or "granny flat" potential in the future.

With Mel Maria Catholic Primary School just a few doors down, Booragoon Primary School, Melville Primary School and the excellent Kadidjiny Park not too far away and the likes of bus stops, sporting facilities at Tompkins Park, our picturesque Swan River, the exciting Garden City Shopping Centre redevelopment, the freeway and Fremantle all so easily accessible, this really is a location you could see yourself falling in love with. How lovely!

Myaree overview

Prior to 1954, the suburb now named Myaree was part of Melville until the Melville Road Board acquired land and planning for an urban residential area in conjunction with an industrial area. The name, Myaree, which is an Aboriginal word meaning 'foliage', was suggested and street names were chosen commemorating men of the district who died on active service in the first world war and old residents who had played an active part in the development of the area.

Myaree is home to a retail hub along Leach Highway which includes many major retail outlets and public transport, providing a short journey to Fremantle and Perth City. Other features include seven reserves and parks such as Marmion Reserve, a sporting space with it's own lake with walking path.
