Well Presented Family Home
Rachael O'Dowd is proud to present 13 Russell Road in Maida Vale. It is a well looked after 4-bedroom 2-bathroom home with a great design that includes multiple living areas PLUS a kid's activity area near bedroom 3 and 4 making it perfect for a family. The space would also make for a great study!
The layout is great and very practical, as you walk through the front lounge/ it opens into the combined kitchen, dining and living area that is not only spacious adjoins to the patio area and good-sized backyard.
The backyard is easy care with a nice lawn area, storage shed and patio. There is also access the back yard straight through the carport.
Location wise the home is close to everything with shops, schools and transport very close. The Forrestfield train link is nearing completion and is due to be finished in 2021. There is also the proposed Maida Vale Shopping Centre and if it goes through would be very convenient.

This area was first settled in 1873 by William Henry Mead. He built a home in the Ridge Hill area, and established an orchard named "Orangedale". The name of Maida Vale was chosen as the district name by a public meeting of local residents in 1910, and comes from the property name of another early settler, Mr W H McCormack. It is assumed that the name was derived from that of the west London suburb of this name, which in turn is named after Maida (S. Pietro di Maida) in Calabria, Italy. The British Army defeated the French there in 1806, and in commemoration of the victory Maida Hall and Maida Vale were named.
Within the suburb there is a primary school, Maida Vale Primary School, a golf course, numerous parks/ovals, small shops, and a heated swimming pool. Maida Vale retains areas of natural bushland and is not completely built-up with housing.
