Refined retro-classic with electrifying enhancements

The Perth Property Co. is excited to present 10 Woodlands Street, Menora. A classic 1950s home of astonishing splendour that offers an electrifying fusion of past and contemporary living thanks to a beautiful renovation that allows the home to maintain its original retro-classic features yet incorporate modern amenities to meet the needs of today's modern family.

From the street, what appears as a charming archetypical bungalow, unfolds to a showpiece of deliberate style, superior architecture and outstanding functionality. Comfortably accommodated on 789sqm in a much-desired family orientated neighbourhood, this home, and all its elegances and pleasures, is just waiting to be discovered.

A fine example of its era, you are greeted by a bright and appealing entrance that illuminates the purposeful style and prominent features found throughout the home, like the modern neutral dcor, the high ceilings and polished floorboards that draw you on into the home. Continuing your journey further, you come to the generous Master bedroom. There is an abundance of natural light afforded by the big front window with Hampton's shutters, plus an impressive walk-through wardrobe with clever storage features and an elegant master ensuite boasting a large shower recess, ceramic basin, stone benchtop and WC.

Accommodated neatly to the left of the central hallway are three further bedrooms, all a good size and featuring built-in robes, modern light-ceiling fan combination and Hampton's shutters to bedroom two. Turning to the right of the hall and bedroom five can be found alongside the stunning family bathroom. This bathroom is adorned with stone benchtop, frameless shower screen, separate bath, WC and plenty of modern touches of class and taste.

Found at the end of the hallway is the second living zone; a large lounge room or theatre room with glass doors that allow this zone to be closed off from the rest of the home.

Entering from either the hallway or the lounge room, you now step into an immense space infused with natural light, abundant in style and beauty, all cleverly engineered to engage the senses and provide the ultimate family living experience.

The modern zone hosts a perfect kitchen. From the stone benchtops and clever use of ceiling high cabinetry, to the trio of pendant lights above the breakfast bar and the perfect use of space and function, this kitchen is something to behold. You will find a Belling 1100mm Stainless-steel freestanding oven with gas cooktop and concealed range-hood plus an almost endless supply of storage, with exceptional use of smart cabinetry including draws, cupboards and pantry, and the attractive tiled full-length splashback. Sitting alongside this culinary haven you find a super-convenient scullery and laundry with ample storage plus sink, microwave and dishwasher.

The offerings don't end there either. There is a smart powder room and access to the rear yard in the scullery, plus a handy home office/study with built-in cabinets found off the living room. A set of glass doors, which permit comforting light to permeate entirely into this space, can be opened to create a clever connection between indoor and outdoor pleasures and entertaining. Waiting for you outside is the big alfresco and deluxe pool entertaining zone. Framing the pool is the easy care and reticulated garden which is nicely lawned and ready for family fun and enjoyment.

The functionality of this home is further enhanced by the remaining features. To compliment the style, the charm and clever layout, there is also ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning, attractive modern window treatments, downlights and other quality light fittings plus a single garage with roller door access front and rear.

This home is a true showcase of style and family comfort just moments from the popular local attractions of the Mt Lawley and North Perth centres, plus ECU and well-liked schools. Menora overview

The suburb of Menora grew out of a large area generally referred to as Mount Lawley.  In 1954, the Nomenclature Advisory Committee, working with the Postmaster General established suburb names and boundaries for the inner metropolitan area.  The area of Menora was considered unnamed, and Menora was chosen as the name because of the Menora Picture Theatre located in Walcott Street within the area.

Life in Merora

Menora is home to a large Jewish community, the heart of which is the Perth Hebrew Congregation. It is close to the Carmel Jewish School and other Kosher facilities such as the Kosher Food Centre and Besh Fresh cafe. A Jewish synagogue was opened on Plantation Street in 1973 and remains a significant spiritual focus for Perth's Jewish community.

The suburb contains some commercial ribbon development along Walcott Street, which allows local residents to access retail services. Other facilities include a large number of public open space reserves and several pocket parks, Saint Paul's Primary School and several homes for senior citizens.
