Inglewood

Situated 5km from Perth GPO.

This suburb was developed by Gold Estates of Australia during the bold boom ear of the 1890's. Part of it was named "Inglewood Estate" by E W Hammer in 1895. Its origin is uncertain, but it may have been named after Inglewood in California, USA or after a Norwegian barque of that name which called at Fremantle during the 1890's.
