    Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 9 February - reiwa.comOverall reported sales fell nine per cent in the Perth metro area this week, to record 655 sales from 723 sales last week.

    This decline can be attributed to an eight per cent decrease in house sales, a nine per cent drop in unit sales and a 20 per cent decline in land sales.

    In line with the decrease in sales, the total number of properties listed for sale recorded a marginal one per cent increase to 14,990 this week from 14,782 last week.

    Listings for houses and units have both seen a one per cent increase, while land listings lifted three per cent.

    The total number of listings recorded this week is three per cent higher than four weeks ago and 15 per cent higher than the same time last year.

    In Perth’s rental market, REIWA members reported a decrease of two per cent in the total number of properties available for rent over the week, dropping from 10,042 last week to 9,849 this week.

    This is two per cent lower than figures seen four weeks ago, but 57 per cent higher than the same time last year.
