    Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 24 November - reiwa.comThis week REIWA members reported a marginal increase in Perth's overall weekly sales figure to record 637 sales from 632 sales last week.

    Despite recent fluctuations, the overall sales figure has remained around the 600 mark for the past six weeks.

    The one per cent increase in sales over the week is mainly attributed to a significant increase in total land sales by 50 per cent, whereas unit sales saw a significant decline of 19 per cent and house sales declined by one per cent.

    The total number of properties listed for sale in Perth continued to increase over the week, lifting one per cent to 16,969 due to an increase in listing for houses and units by two per cent respectively. Listings for land experienced a marginal one per cent decline.

    This week’s total listings figure of 16,969 is four per cent higher than the total number of properties listed for sale four weeks ago and 28 per cent higher than the same time last year.

    In Perth’s rental market, REIWA members reported a three per cent increase in the total number of properties listed for rent this week, with the number lifting to 9,373 from 9,105. 

    This increase is mostly attributed to a three per cent increase in listings for houses and a two per cent increase in listings for units.
