    Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 22 March - reiwa.comPerth’s reported weekly sales figure increased 13 per cent this week, recording 685 sales across houses, units and land.

    The increase was felt across all areas, with house sales lifting by 16 per cent, units by eight per cent and land by two per cent.

    The total number of properties available for sale across the metropolitan area increased one per cent this week, etching up to 15,453 this week from 15,374* last week. This negligible increase is due to units and land listings lifting two and three per cent respectively, while the number of houses for sale in Perth declined one per cent.

    The total listings figure of 15,453 is two per cent higher than four weeks ago and eight per cent higher than at the same time last year.

    Taking a look at Perth’s rental market now, and REIWA members reported that the number of properties available to rent increased by one per cent* to 9,566 this week.

    This is three per cent higher than four weeks ago and 45 per cent higher than the same time last year.
