History

REIWA's origins

In September of 1918, a dedicated group of real estate agents in Perth decided to create an industry association to represent them. As a result the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia was established and since that time has served to position its members in the broader community as professional and reputable business people.

In the many years that have passed since 1918, modern day REIWA has now grown to around 1,000 member agencies representing more than 80 per cent of operating agents in WA.

The Institute provides a range of products, services, advice and information to members to assist them in the marketing and managing of their business. This in turn benefits those consumers who use REIWA agents.

Through these benefits and resources REIWA is enhancing its established and trusted reputation and is helping WA agents to become among the best and most professional in Australia.
